3. Doctoral workshop

The third joint doctoral workshop organized by the University of Strasborg / BETA and KIT took place on March 15th 2012 at the Chair of Economic Policy. Again, the workshop was supported by Karlsruhe House of Young Scientists (KHYS), the focus "Mensch und Technik" at KIT as well as the German-French initiative (DeFI) at KIT. The first joint doctoral workshop organized by the University of Strasborg / BETA and KIT on the topic of "Innovation, knowledge-based economies, and regional development" took place on 18 February, 2011 at the Chair of Economic Policy. The workshop was supported by Karlsruhe House of Young Scientists (KHYS) and the focus "Mensch und Technik" at KIT. The program is available for download here.

On July 7-8, 2011 the international "Workshop on nanotechnologies - Economic and societal perspectives" took place on the premises of the Hector-School in Karlsruhe. This workshop was organized by the Chair in Economic Policy at KIT in cooperation with Université de Caen - Basse-Normandie and supported financially by VolkswagenStiftung.
