Experience in one of the fields is not a must but is helpful : This work involves a comprehensive analysis of multiple concepts on General Purpose Technologies (GPT), knowledge recombination and economics of complexity. The student shall be able to find ways of bringing those concept closer together and derive some testable hypotheses, which can either be verified empirically or by means of a simulation model.
Experience in one of the fields is not a must but is helpful:
- ability to process various literature sources
- some background knowledge in social network analysis or network science
- experience in programming
