Narek Mirzoyan at the Autumn School on Experimental Methods in Armenia

From September 22 to 25, 2026, our research associate Narek Mirzoyan attended the Autumn School on Experimental Methods, organized by the Central Bank of Armenia and J-PAL Europe at the Dilijan Training and Research Centre in Dilijan/Armenia.

The programme covered the design and application of randomised controlled trials (RCTs) in economic research and policy evaluation. Through advanced lectures, practical workshops, and research proposals development, participants explored how to translate policy-relevant research questions into experimental studies.

The event featured an opening keynote by Abhijit Banerjee, co-founder of J-PAL and Nobel Laureate in Economic Sciences 2019. It also offered opportunities to exchange ideas with international researchers and to discuss methodological challenges in experimental research.
